What is Glory Np all about

Glory NP as a Non-Profit Organization is the result of an idea that has been years in the making for our founder Gloria Peters. She has always had a passion for serving people and after sharing her ideas about how to make this passion into something concrete, she began recruiting people who share her drive and interest in impacting the community.

And this is how, at the end of 2020, a few of us came together and decided to start working with specific goals in mind. The first tasks we took on were: Assisting families with food and pantry items for their Thanksgiving Supper and putting together Christmas baskets and Christmas gifts for families in need. we were also able to assist with some cash for families to cover their utility bills, which turned out to be important, since due to the pandemic there are many people who have lost some or al of their income.

As a result of this first effort we helped thirty families, but none of what we achieved would have been possible without the help of donors and people in the community who got word of our objectives and decided to get involved. And it is actually because of the positive response from the community and the need we see in it that we are motivated to have a more permanent presence as a source of support.

But we also want to expand and hope that as the organization grows we can provide a more comprehensive assistance, we are currently looking into ways other ways in which we can help, among those are supporting high school and college students in furthering their education. case management?

The ways in which we can currently be of assistance are:

Connecting people with various community resources specific to their situation and needs.
Providing clothes for families who need them.

Providing care packages with hygiene items.

Providing gifts for children during specific holidays like Easter or Christmas.
